The Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy of Saints Peter and Paul of Melbourne as the first guided visit of a series of tours organized by the Spanish Architects Society in Australia to provide to the public an insight to buildings in which Spanish-born architects have designed or participated in the design and construction process of buildings in Australia.
In this first visit, we were honoured with the presence of Mr. Salvador Camacho Bracero, Spanish –born architect who designed this heritage building being also involved in the construction stage. Salvador developed his professional career in both Australia and Spain, having an extensive portfolio of buildings in both countries. We were also delighted with the presence of friends of the Society, including Mr. Juan Carlos Gafo Acevedo, consul of the Spanish Consulate in Melbourne.
